The solution center shows various solutions that may interest you. Each solution is described and may have an accompanying video to help you understand whether you would like to use the solution or report. These solutions answer very specific questions, such as:
Each solution description indicates which Exinda OS version is required to run the solution, shown both in the solution list and in each solution description. You may need to upgrade your Exinda OS version to take advantage of the desired solutions. Some solutions may not yet be available and are shown as ‘Coming soon’.
The Exinda Solution Center
The solution descriptions are served up from an Exinda hosted server. If your solution center indicates that there are no reports, then either you do not have Internet connectivity to the Exinda hosted server or the Exinda hosted server is temporarily down. Note that solutions that have already been instantiated will still be available to you.
Once you upgrade your Exinda OS to the appropriate version or higher, the solution Run button will become enabled and you will be able to access the solution.
Yes, you can create a solution multiple times if the solution takes configuration parameters. For instance, you can create multiple Application Performance reports where each report is monitoring a different application. For solutions without configuration parameters, such as VoIP Performance, you cannot create the solution more than once.
The only way to delete a solution is through the command line.
At the CLI prompt, type: no solutionc <id>.
To delete application performance solutions (excluding VoIP), the ID will be the application ID of the application that is being monitored.
To determine the application ID, go to Configuration > Objects > Service Levels > Application Performance Score. Find the application in the APS list in the APS Name column. The format will be '<app-name> Solution Center (app-id)'. For example, to delete the CIFS Performance solution, on the Application Performance Score page, the CIFS APS object will be named CIFS Solution Center (208). To delete the solution, type: no solutionc 208.
