Email Configuration

Go to Configuration > System > Network > Email.

1. In the SMTP Server area, type the SMTP Server Name.

   IPv4 and IPv6 addresses can be used, as well as DNS names.

2. Type the SMTP server port.

   The default port number is 25.

3. Type the email address that system alerts and report notifications will appear to have been sent from.
4. Select the SMTP Authentication checkbox, to require authentication against the SMTP server before emails can be sent, .
2. Provide the username and password for the SMTP server, and select the authentication method.
5. Click Apply Changes.

1. Add your own email address to the Notify Recipients section.
2. Click the Sent Test Email to All button.

1. In the Add New Notify Recipients area, type the email address of the user who should receive notifications.

2. Select the emails the user should receive:
   • Verbose Detail—Send detailed event emails to the user.
   • Info Emails—Send informational emails to the user.
   • Failure Emails—Send failure emails to this recipient.

3. Click Add New Recipient.
   The new recipients are added to the Notify Recipients list.

1. In the Notify Recipients list, select the user to be deleted.

2. Click Remove Recipients.
   The user is removed from the list, and will no longer receive email notifications.
